How We Welcome New Clients

Every new client completes a simple onboarding process designed to ensure safety, compatibility, and quality care.

Client Intake Form

  • Helps us understand your routines, preferences, and support needs.

Home Visit

  • Meet the client in person.

  • Review access procedures.

  • Verify equipment functionality.

  • Better understand ongoing care requirements.

How We Screen Attendants

Every Whimble attendant completes a comprehensive screening process before joining our platform.

Requirements

  • Clean Vulnerable Sector Check (completed within the previous 6 months)

  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification

  • Appropriate Liability Insurance

  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (min. 3 doses)

  • Tuberculosis test results

Assessment Process

  • Virtual interview to review skills and experience

  • Minimum of two professional references

  • In-person meeting to assess professionalism and suitability

Service Expectations

Prompt Communication

After submitting a request, our customer service team is available between 7 am and 11 pm Eastern to provide status updates.

Responsible Use

Whimble is not a medical provider and does not offer emergency services.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency or dangerous situation, please call 911 immediately.

Pricing & Payments

New Client Onboarding

A one-time onboarding fee of $99 + tax is charged when booking your home visit. Upon successful completion of onboarding, this amount is returned to you as a service credit (valid for 30 days) that can be applied toward future Whimble services.

One-on-One Support

  • $39/hour+HST

  • 1-hour minimum booking
